This two-part dessert unveils the debut design in the Fyre Footwear Collection—a line of edible luxury shoes inspired by mythical creatures. Every detail of the dragon heel and its coordinating shoebox is crafted entirely from chocolate, sugar, and imagination.
The shoe is cast in layers of dark and white couverture chocolate, hand-painted with custom-blended cocoa butter dyes. A dark chocolate dragon fruit ganache fills the structure, while the scale textures were individually carved by hand. Pitaya bonbons, molded into miniature horns and claws, embellish the design alongside spikes cut from handmade Kohakutou crystal candy. A dramatic cookie wing completes the look.
The matching cake mirrors the shoe’s flavor story: cocoa pâte sucrée, dragon fruit génoise sponge, and vibrant dragon fruit Italian meringue buttercream, all wrapped in hand-painted dark chocolate ganache.
